Richard Smehlik, a 6' 4" Defenseman, played for 10 seasons in the NHL from 1992 to 2002. He played with the Buffalo Sabres, Atlanta Thrashers and New Jersey Devils. He last played in the league during the 2002 season as a member of the Thrashers.
